Is it generally accepted that Grizzle does not exist with Taklas?

Sorry for the late response.
I would say more like when it is seen on a bird it is almost always over looked.
There have always been birds with that type of markings to a degree but I have never seen anyone that followed the pattern and try to make it more pronounced.
That being said, that has changed drastically last 10 years.
The şebap breeders have shown interest in the marking and you can see nice birds in the show cages.
For the birds in the air it is still the same story, no one really cares for it to follow it.
As a result it will show up randomly in different lofts.
I would suspect the owner of the loft may even make an effort to disguise the marking so people don't say "he is secretly breeding for color"
Not the label you want in a competition world.
Let's say we like our ugly birds :)

This just reminded me of my childhood.
Many years later, I ran into a guy on a Turkish pigeon site who lived in Norway who said he was one of the kids from our neighborhood when I was growing up.
Messaging back and forth, not have seen each other since childhood, I could not figure out which kid he was, even after photo exchange. People change a lot.
He on the other hand knew me right away because he said I kept the ugliest birds in the hood, all patchy.
I was so happy to hear that.
