Tumbling on the floor

Postby M Sheikh » Thu May 17, 2012 12:40 pm

Guys

One of my friend gave me a turkish takla cock
The prolem is he keep on tumbling on the floor
He only go about 25 feet up tumbling and come down tumbling ( I lost counting that much he tumble)

Is it gonna make a good stock bird or shell I get rid of him

I don't know

And how do I make him fly for longer

One otherthing sometime he land on the roof and can not get down because
Everytime he try to get down he just keep on tumbling on the roof

He could be a very good bird trained by someone who made a mess out of him.
He could also be a less then avarage bird who didn't get enough flight time.
Then again he could be any Takla who was not flown properly and started tumbling on its own.
It could be many things.
Get a pair of youngs from that bird with a quality hen and see how the babies come out with their performance.
Until then your guess is as good as mine.

Hi ,
have almost the same, after 3 weeks training, right now the tumbling and tumbling ... until they failing down somewhere!! Even the Tail-Feather has been released.

Both birds are from Mardini Takla pair, are good blood.

Do you have another solution?!
