Do all turkish tumblers clap when they fly?

Postby waleed786 » Sat Oct 11, 2014 10:39 am

So recently I bought a red male Turkish takla pigeon, when I got it home and let it fly a little in the loft it didn't make any clapping sound normal Turkish takla do, it is 6 months will it develop it or do you think it is impure?. When it fly's it is really quite but it has a few of its tail feathers missing and others are still half grown it also has half grown second flight feathers do you think it will clap when they grow fully?

Hi Waleed,
Can you post a photo of this bird?
It's rare but there are Taklas with out wing sound.
At times if bird is sick this can happen also.

Hi Waleed,
The bird is not a Turkish tumbler.
Most likely a Syrian Coop Tumbler.
