when they are young , you need to fly them with an adult pilot bird that flies for a short time, 3 youngster and a pilot bird is the limit
or 2 youngsters and a pilot,if you have time to do, once the youngsters gain confidence in flying,you can take the adult pilot bird out and put the longer flyers to gether,in 3 or 4 bird kits and fly them,once they start tumbling hard and tumble 1 or 2 as they approach the coop prior to landing and have a little hard time doing it is the time to start flying solo.
you wanna let it out and let the bird fly for at least 10 or 15 min, then, let other birds out to the ground.in time ,that bird will start charging the coop and shooting up in tumbles over the birds.
