!!!! HELP !!!!

Postby jafacanyan » Wed Aug 07, 2013 9:17 pm

Hello, I would like to know the history and origin the pro and cons of the turkish takla. What are the different types in this breed, I have heard there are many like mardin, urfa, Arab, and kir, types are there more? What are the most valuable types in this breed? What are the difference in there performance, what to look for? If there is someone out there that could help me get a better understanding about this breed. Thank you in advance!

Thank you, Kurt that helped out a lot. What is a Arab, or a kir, I didn't figure that out yet. I only wish I could own a real pure bred top flying adult takla like in the above picture provided by Kurt , having hope is good I guess!

Both arap and kır are color names.
I would not wory too much about that.
I got your private message also by the way.
I know you are looking for good birds.
Here are a few people that keep top notch birds:
Uğur (Alex) Büyükölmez.
Masis Kasparoğlu.
Murat Özel.
Paul Sefilian.

Murat keeps quiet a few birds so he might have some extra.
It will be though to get birds from Uğur or Masis since they only keep few bloodlines.

Paul might have some. I am not sure.

There are other solid takla guys out there also but I have not seen their birds in person.
It doesn't hurt to try them.
On the members page click on their names and the following page should give you a list of breeds they keep.
In the mean time if I hear of anyone with extra birds I will let you know.

Good luck in your search.
