There was a Turkish guy in New York, an electrician.
I think, his name is Turan Ateş but not too sure.
He kept takla on the roof of his shop.
Good friend of Captain Bora from Istanbul.
Later on he had some health problems and stopped keeping birds.
Any way, around 2000-2001 he mentioned that Süleyman was keeping them.
I just checked the old emails and it says Süleyman Altıntaş.
He is also mentioning that there are others like a man named Şevki Yeşil originally from Eskişehir.
At that time they were all hanging out together rather large group.
One of them should know where those birds went.
A few years ago I had a friend try to trace the Kelebek bloodline that group had but it had changed so many hands we could not find the birds.
I am surprised Süleyman didn't mention it.
Maybe it is a different Süleyman.
I don't know the Turkish pigeon guys in New York area much but I am pretty sure the birds were there.
Next time I speak with Masis I'll ask him.
